Qianjiang district locates in the southeast of Chongqing, is the junction of Chongqing, Hubei province, Hunan province and Guzhou province. Qianjiang valley park cross over 7 geological regions, and three major groups of Qianjiang city. The park starts from the old district of city in the north, and pass throuth the Qianjiang river in the south, and lies in the upstream of Apeng River.Qianjiang valley park is 8 kilometers long, and the type of landscape in the park is various, such as hills, caves, valleys, waterfalls, wetlands, forests, geological wonders,Buddhist cultureand Tujia style. The park is based on the city, and the planning emphasizes valley sightseeing , geological wonders, folk experience and water activities to show the nature of the land like surprising, dangerous and extraordinary landscape. We use the valley to connect the entire park, and merge the natural landscape, ethnic customs and urban culture into the park to form a developing formation constructed by " one line, three districts, nine nodes ".The construction of the park and the development of the park will improve mutually.
黔江區位于重慶市東南部，是渝、鄂、湘、黔四省市的結合部。黔江峽谷公園，跨越七個地質年代的地質區域，穿越黔江城市三大組團，北起老城，南經黔江河，進入阿蓬江入口上游處。 黔江峽谷公園全長8公里，融山、洞、峽、瀑布、濕地、森林、地質奇觀、佛教文化、土家風情于一體，并緊緊依托城市，規劃著眼峽谷觀光、地質奇觀、民俗體驗、水上活動等景觀資源，充分展現用地本身的驚，險，奇等特點，以峽谷景觀串聯整個公園，規劃將自然景觀、民族風情、城市文化融入到峽谷公園中，形成“一線、三區、九節點”的串珠狀發展模式，有效達成城市建設對公園開發的帶動和公園發展對城市價值的提升關系。
