Tuanxi memorial plaza is in the center of Tuanxi town, close to the town government and the courts, and will be the political, economic and cultural center. So the plaza is designed as a memorial one, but also has the function of municipal plaza and commercial plaza. Considering the public use, the plaza can be place for culture, leisure and entertainment.The design concept is based on the site topography and landscape resource. Because the topic is dragon, and the east of the shape of the eastern Longyan reservoir looks like dragon head, and the canal connects the reservoir and site is like the dragon body, we put forward the idea of "Phoenix" to make the entire region to be harmonious and prosperous with "Phoenix and dragon". And such combination is very traditional and Chinese, and also indicates that the site will be flourishing and auspicious in the future.
團溪紀念廣場的位置位于團溪鎮(zhèn)中心處，緊鄰鎮(zhèn)政府和法院，即將成為本鎮(zhèn)的政治、經(jīng)濟、文化中心，所以此次廣場的設(shè)計定位為紀念性廣場，兼有市政廣場和商業(yè)廣場的性質(zhì)和功能，同時兼顧考慮市民的使用，以及如何體現(xiàn)文化性、休閑性和娛樂性。 設(shè)計構(gòu)思上是依據(jù)現(xiàn)場地形和景觀資源，結(jié)合場地東側(cè)龍巖水庫如龍頭吸水的形狀和其龍的主題，以及水庫與場地連接水渠的蜿蜒如龍身的形象，大膽提出將場地抽象提取“鳳”的思路，使整個區(qū)域呈現(xiàn)“龍鳳呈祥”的大和諧、大繁榮的氣象，正所謂“龍嬉于水、鳳嬉于林”這頗具中國傳統(tǒng)意味的組合，既暗示了本案傳統(tǒng)中式的風格，也預示著這片祥合之地即將龍飛鳳舞、展翅騰飛。
